Each year, I contributed to Saks Fifth Avenue’s world-famous animated holiday light show, collaborating with lighting designers, sound designers, and rigging teams to adapt and re-theme the façade within new creative directions. In all cases, I produced the visual rendering that was used as the basis of art direction for the animation.

“Theater of Dreams”: Designed and digitally art-directed theater-inspired elements including 15-foot illuminated curtain swags, 10-foot tassels, and a fully RGB-controllable proscenium spanning the entire facade.

Disney’s Frozen 2: Supported Saks’ collaboration with Disney by incorporating new scenic and lighting elements, including custom-designed trees that framed the windows and interacted seamlessly with the animation.

Elton John Partnership: Saks partnered with the Elton John AIDS Foundation to create a show coinciding with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Existing facade elements were restructured into a fresh composition that reflected Elton John’s signature style, with clever animated details — including a spinning record — integrated seamlessly into the overall design.
